ILA Vietnam is the only provider in South East Asia to offer its teachers the Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA).

The DELTA is designed to further your teaching qualifications and to help you realise your teaching potential. The course features a balance of theory and practice to enhance your understanding of the English language, while examining in depth the principles of effective teaching and the practical skills required for teaching English to adult learners.

We offer all the essentials needed to ensure that trainees are fully equipped for the course. Trainees have full access to an extensive Teacher Training resource room with a large collection of DELTA reading material, exam papers and teaching resources. In addition, ILA offers a free language awareness course and reading group prior to the DELTA to ensure trainees are well prepared

Course Dates

The next DELTA course will begin in February 2010 and will be conducted on a full-time basis over 8 weeks at an ILA training centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  Course dates are not yet confirmed but a schedule can be viewed here.

Teachers at ILA Vietnam can receive a discount on the course fees.

*Due to restrictions from the Vietnamese authorities, ILA Vietnam is only able to offer the DELTA course to its teachers. We would recommend that applications, both for the course and for teaching position, are completed as early as possible.  Before completing this application, please check that you meet the requirements for teaching at ILA, outlined on our website www.discovereltvietnam.com/vacancies

Candidates who continue to work at ILA after successfully completing the course will be eligible to have the course fee reimbursed over a three year period [conditions apply].
